Special Course on “Antiquity”

Auktionsverket “Antikskola” has invited us to a special course on ANTIQUITY, led by Ulla-Karin Warberg, one of the best and highly qualified experts in Sweden. Corresponding to the school´s offer, we shall enjoy a series of professional lecturing on various subjects within Antiquity in Sweden and abroad – each month of the autumn.

Please mark on your calendars the following dates:

Friday, 17 October at 10.30 a.m. –Lecture at Antikskolan “Collecting art and objects of art in Sweden”. We will be informed about the great collections that are to be seen, where to find paintings, furnitures, carpets and textiles and other objects of art in the Swedish market.

Friday, 14 November at 10.30 – Guided viewing at the Stora Kvalitén. We will meet at Nybrogatan 32

Friday, 12 December at 10.30 – Lecture at Antikskolan “ The temperature on the Auction Market”. What are the most popular items right now?

These lectures at Antikskolan cost 150 SEK per person. The viewing is fee.

JOINING A COMMITTEE

Committees serve a huge purpose and the Board would like to encourage members to join a committee. You can join a committee as soon as you become a member, thus facilitating an early insertion in our big family.

The work entailed is never too taxing, though one does have to be available at certain times negotiable with the Chairperson. It is an easy way to meet new people, to be active and connected. You will become a great asset to our Club. It gives an opportunity to work for the Club in a meaningful way without having to be on
The Board. It can train and inspire you to become a future Board member.
